Quitting Smoking utilizes the same approach as Educational Empowerment. You did not become a smoker overnight, and you will not quit overnight. Smoking behaviors are gradually replaced by non-smoking behaviors, until the non-smoking behaviors predominate. You don't have to establish a sudden quitting date.
